Meet Kirstin ~ founder, designer, and the quietly intuitive force behind our brand’s creative direction. With an approach that is more instinctive, Kirstin moves through the world with a deep sensitivity to mood, material, and meaning. Her creativity is rarely loud, but always considered—anchored in the emotive, informed by travel, and shaped by the natural world.
As our Creative Director, Kirstin leads with a sense of calm clarity. Her process begins not with a sketch but with a feeling—an imagined horizon, a palette pulled from a landscape, a moment suspended in memory. Over the years, she’s cultivated a design language that’s both fluid and grounded, marked by contrast, subtle tension, and an appreciation for the space in between.
Here we sit down with Kirstin to learn more about her world—what inspires her, the rituals that shape her day, and how she stays creatively connected in an ever-moving world.
The key for me is carving out space for opening and getting a new perspective. Being intentional is at the core of this. I do this often with meditation, which as a practice has been such a strong unfolding for me.
It's not just about sitting in meditation but using this process when I'm sitting at my desk, walking, and in my daily life. A way of being that's open to the energetic flow. An evolving learning to channel creative energy. To be open in this way allows movement and in this place within myself, that insight and vision unfold. It's a very personal process.
I’m less in my ‘thinking’ mind as I move through life. Spending more time in my ‘feeling’ mind and own being helps me stay connected to my essence.
I think this comes down to seeking out the smaller details. Tuning into the subtleties, noticing the tiny details in my surroundings that you often skip over —really sinking in, noticing how light falls, nature moves and the way things feel. I’m a deeply visual and sensory person and feel and see everything around me.
Often, that means stepping outside and finding spaces that invite stillness and presence—places that honour the finer details. Movement plays a big role too. Walking with music, or even just moving spaces when I’m trying to tap into that creativity can create an energetic shift for me if I’m feeling uninspired.
I fill my day with small rituals I turn to. More broadly, I try to set myself up in an intentional way, using this mindset to clear the space and recharge the energy. Essentially, honing in on the practices that open the flow state.
Always seeking to ground myself. Sometimes it is a small escape to my garden as the day closes, sitting, gathering, nurturing, planting, and cooking with what I’ve gathered, grown at home. A daily reminder that everything moves in cycles.
In jewellery, my style is more hardware led, textural elements and organic forms. I gravitate to slightly more statement pieces that speak for themselves. The Cascade Necklace is a favourite I reach for again and again. I’m most often wearing the Tresor Hoops and the Glow Huggies stacked together, I’m drawn to the beauty in subtle statements.
I’m most in my element when I feel ‘connection’. I feel it with the ocean and land, with like minded people. Creative friends and spaces make me feel in my element and reflect a big part of my essence. Travel and movement is always an easy place for me to feel in my element. I love travelling in more remote places, spontaneous adventure and decision making feels exciting and allows for things to unfold naturally.
Connection within myself is the most important one, it’s where I can feel completely aligned.
